LICENSED JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER (COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION)

About the Role
National Service Professionals is looking for a skilled, self-motivated Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our commercial construction division. We are looking for a professional who can own and execute projects from initial drawing review to the final inspection.
You will be responsible for executing complex commercial installs, managing job sites independently, and supervising junior technicians or apprentices to ensure our high standards of quality and cleanliness are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Execution: Expertly read and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings to plan and execute piping layouts and fixture installations.
- Site Leadership: Supervise job sites, ensuring work stays on schedule and meets all Ontario Building Code (OBC) requirements.
- Service & Install: Perform high-level commercial work including faucets, toilets, eyewash stations, roof drains, cleanouts, and specialized commercial systems.
- Self-Management: Order materials efficiently (prioritizing Noble, Desco, or Wolseley) and manage daily worksheets and documentation in real-time.
- Client Relations: Maintain a professional demeanor on-site, ensuring worksites are left cleaner than when you arrived.
What We're Looking For
- Certification: Valid Ontario Journeyman Plumber License (306A).
- Experience: Proven track record in commercial construction projects.
- Versatility: Willingness to work evening shifts when projects require it and travel within Ontario for specific contracts.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to use mobile devices for "before and after" documentation and service channel call-in/call-out procedures.
- Professionalism: A high standard for clean work, precise investigation of issues, and accurate time-tracking.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, venting, and drainage.
- Experience with various piping materials (Copper, PEX, Cast Iron, PVC).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills—we value technicians who find solutions, not just problems.
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean abstract.
- OWWA Backflow Certification an asset but not required.
